Hi, my fasting is 140 and pp 190. I am taking dynaglipt m before lunch and cyblexm80 before dinner my hba1c is 8.7 serum creatinine is. 75 my doctor prescribed oxra10 and gemer 1 twice and sitagliptin. Instead above please suggest should I change my medicine according. My weight is 75 kg.

Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. From the hba1c% it is clear that there is no proper control of blood glucose. Ideally at your age fbg should be < 100 mg or closer to it. Pp should be 150 to 160 mg & hba1c% < 6.5%. Therefore it is clear that there is a need to upgrade the treatment, which means we need to look at your diet, extent of daily exercise, weight & height. Information regarding these aspects is not there, so it is difficult to comment. In the treatment of diabetes diet, exercise and weight control ply a nuch more important role than the drugs. So there is a need to look at those aspects along with change in treatment (drugs) if necessary. Thanks.
