Hello swelling means, the infection/ pus from the tooth has crossed beyond the tooth and entered into the spaces. Medication can temporarily give you relief. But you need to get it treated by the dentist. The dentist will open the tooth, take the pus out, and then with time swelling and pain will go. But you better get rct or removal of the tooth.
