My weight is around 75 kg and height 5 ft 9 in. First day I had little throat infection and body pain then fever in evening. I took dolo 650. Again, fever came in night around 1 am. I took 500 mg dolo. Again fever came in morning. So, from 2nd day of fever I started azithromycin as I was having little throat infection as well, first I took 500 mg tablet and 500 mg dolo. Then next day I took 250 mg azithromycin in morning but fever didn't go. Fever was 99-101. So, in evening I took 500 mg azithromycin, dolo 650 mg. Still fever was at 100. Each day I took supradyn multivitamin 1 tab every night and even benadryl (cough) 2 tspn thrice a day as I started getting cough from 2nd day (white bulgum). First day I had little throat infection and body pain. Later, till now have only fever and cough. Shall I continue the course till 5 days or what shall I do, please consult. Thank you very much.

Please complete the azithromycin course as per protocol. 500 mg daily for 3 days since you have already started it. As for fever and cough, they will gradually go since most likely its a viral infection. If symptoms gradually get better (which they most likely will), just keep yourself hydrated and take good diet and get plenty of rest. You will be fine in a few days. Mild cough may persist. If fever persist beyond 5 days, or increases, or cough increases, you must contact again. Take care.
