Cryptococcosis is a type of fungal infection that is generally found in bird droppings. The bacterium, Cryptococcus C. Neoformans is responsible for causing this condition. People experiencing this infection generally face the danger of having a compromised immune system and often found to be HIV positive. Fever, cough, headache and fatigue are common symptoms. Complications include infection of the central nervous system. The condition is contagious and spreads through air.
