Dear lybrate user, you could eat half a banana on alternate days, if you really love this fruit. Usually the kind of fruits you could eat (but in controlled portions) are apples, limited oranges, sweet lime (mosambi), guava, pomegranate, papaya, etc. Avoid fruits like grapes, chikoo, sitaphal, banana, mango, ripe jackfruit, etc. Certain fruits (like to ones mentioned to be avoided) have a high glycemic index hence you should refrain from consuming those. Also, this means you avoid taking these types of fruit juices or fresh fruit juices in which sugar/ sugar syrup is added. Take care!
