I am a male 24 years old. I feel sudden pain and kind of inflammation under my lower right rib which stays for 5-10 seconds and disappear. There is no certain pattern to that as what causes it, couldn't figure out yet and it has been from a week or two. First it happened once a day and now the frequency seems to be 3-5 a day. I was also diagnosed with cholesterol (295), and my lifestyle used to be like having unhealthy foods like pizza, burgers, once or twice a day and that too overeating. Now its reduced to once after two to three days and that too eating less. I am worried about the pain under the rib. The pain and inflammation isn't too much, its normal and bearable but what could be the cause and what should I do?
