Pain in Ribs Health Feed

HI, I am a banker from last 1.6 years. I feel problem in my digestion I feel bloating and passes of gas, also fell little heavy and little pain for some time blow my left lower ribs, I also smoke 3-4 cigrate per day and I had quited tea and curd, only takes tea at morning. M very confused why it is happening. My pain below ribs rises when I do some hard work / long walk/ sitting. And I feel better when I get relax on my bed, My weight increasing from last year .this is happening me from last 1-2 months. Thik get ok after some time and then happen again, I feel acidic backup from my stomach after I eat my lunch. What should I do.

For this problem meet the physician. Along this you should start regular exercises like walking, jogging and stretch your whole body muscles. Start deep breathing exercises. And improve your diet. Increase intake of water and fiber diet. Avoid heavy meal. Take small meal in between. Also take small n frequent breaks from sitting and take a small round or stretch your body during this.

Cold compress Cold compresses can help reduce swelling in the area. Cooling also helps to numb sharp pain. Apply an ice pack for up to 20 minutes, up to five times a day. Use a frozen gel pack, ice cubes in a plastic bag, or a bag of frozen peas. Wrap the cold pack in a soft towel. Do not apply a cold pack directly to skin. Heat therapy Heat helps to relax tense muscles and soothe a stiff area. It can help with muscle pain. Use a heated gel pack, heating pad or a hot water bottle.

It may be gas. What r other symptoms that you r experiencing? By doing what like walking, exertion, eating or empty stomach- it increases or decreases in intensity. For how much time does this happen? How is your appetite? R you constipated? If it is gas do this 1. Don't Overeat 2. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. 4. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, any fresh n seasonal fruit, a cup of curd/milk etc 5. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. 6. Maintain active life style 7. Avoid fast foods, spicy n fried foods, Acidic foods, like tomatoes and citrus, Carbonated beverages 8. Take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. It contains a lot of fiber which will help reduce tendency for constipation 9. Drink lot of water. 10. Take half cup of cold milk when you feel acidity, it will help. Curd is good for u. 11. Everyday preferably sleep on same time Exercise in the form of yoga, cycling, Swimming, gymming, walking etc. This is for long term results But for now to bring your digestive system back on track you need to take medicines. I have a broken rib and my doctor gave me pain meds. It's kind of a long story, but my abusive mom took my pain meds away. Is there anything I can do for pain while at school? My school nurse doesn't give over the counter pain meds because of cost.

This may be due to muscle spasm or injury Or from some stomach problem Get evaluated by Gastroenterology for stomach problem if normal then muscle relaxants will work for you.
