My mom is 42 years old and she is sick from the last two days. This week was very hot and she couldn't get enough sleep tonight due to high temperature. She would wake up in midnight and would wash herself regularly. Because of lack of sleep and high temperature I guess she had headaches. After that one day it rained here and the temperature suddenly got down, the celling fan was high and we guess it got her cold and the next day she was having fever. She had taken paracetamol tablets but it would just cause her fever to reduce for sometime only then come back. She would suddenly feel hot then after few minutes she would shiver with cold. Last day, I went to a pharmacy and told them the situation and they gave me'azithromycin tablets i.p 500 mg.'i gave her one tablet yesterday. But we believe she is having gas, because she feels like nausea. For gas we gave her'ranitidine oral solution ip. But even today she feels like nausea and sudden body temperature changes. What would you advise? What are your dietary recommendations? Should we get her an aciloc tablet or something?
