High cholesterol can lead to blockages in major blood vessels supplying heart, brain, kidney, gut, legs etc. Blockages in these leads to reduced blood supply to the affected part and can cause related problems. Good food, exercise are advised. Apart from this you need to control any other risk factors like diabetes, high bp etc if any.
