However, if you have a family history of diabetes and have excess weight, central obesity (waist more than 90 cms), having an inactive lifestyle, also habituated to alcohol or smoking, then there is a possibility of getting diabetes type 2. So if you any of the above things it is better to be cautious. To keep free from T2DM, adapt a healthy lifestyle.
