Hi I am having hair loss and thinning since 2 years. L have a lot of white stuff coming from my scalp and sebum too. And scalp become itchy and tender too sometimes .and after scratching hair came out with roots. Last year doctor suggested to use Nizral shampoo but it didn?t helped a lot and I applied minoxidil too as suggested by the doctors but it didn't helped much as well and now I am so depressed because of my hair loss and thinning as I am only 22 can someone please help I can book an appointment online as in live in Australia. Hi! hair loss can be due to various reasons, genetic, hormonal, nutritional, dandruff, stress ,pollution etc. We have to examine the scalp to know the reason for hair loss. If dandruff is present, it should be checked and be controlled in this age group. Blood tests like cbpesr ,tsh, lft, rbs, s.ferritin levels, s.b12 levels, s.vitamin d levels, s.testosterone levels need to be checked to know the reason and to focus on the internal factors. Mean while ,take balanced diet with proteins, fresh fruits and vegetables, plenty of fluids for hydration, omega 3 rich foods like walnuts, flax seeds etc, iron rich foods like green leafy vegetables, liver, jaggery.
