Hello i'm 23 and 1 week ago I had a minor ankle fracture. After done x ray and confirming my fracture, doctors gave me a walker boot to support my ankle. Can I remove it at night/shower time? Can I start doing exercises such as making small steps, circles, up & down with the foot? For how long do I need to rear the walker boot? Thank you!

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. Although you should follow your doctor's advice in any situation, the normal practice is to wear the boot while sleeping. However, loosening the straps that secure the boot will increase wearing comfort and allow you to sleep better. Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
