Mr Naveen, You have been advised to take insulin injection, means the blood sugar levels to begin with must have been very high. Diabetes mellitus is a disease occurring due deficiency of Insulin hormone secreted by Islets of Langerhans in pancreas. So the treatment has to be providing Insulin. In almost every T2 DM patient as the disease progresses, giving Insulin becomes necessary as only oral drugs do not control the disease. To my knowledge there are no real drugs which can control blood sugar levels, still if you are willing to try go ahead.
