My girlfriend is 19 years old and is anemic so she takes iron supplements but that?s the only medication she has. Whenever she drinks a decent amount she instantly ?blacks out? and almost every time repeatedly passes out for a few seconds at a time. She?ll pass out, wake up all panicked then be ok then pass out again over and over (like 20-30 times in one night). I know this can?t be good and just wanted to get some more info as to why this is happening (as it seems very unusual to pass out many times for a short amount of time) and if doing this is dangerous for her. Any information you could provide is appreciated. Thank you!

It is impossible to suggest anything on it without proper details of her health status. May need to take proper tests. It should not be ignored. Also it is not always right to take iron supplements in anaemia. There are other causes also. Like megaloblastic anemia. Pernicious anemia hemolytic anemia.
