I am 50 year lady. Suffering from dizziness like vertigo. A month back had very low b12 and d3 for which I took injections and supplements with doctors advice and is now reach it?s high of b12 at 1000 ng/ml and folate at 3.7 ng/ml. .i have started taking supplements for folate too. But my problem of dizziness and vertigo still there and is not going. My bp level normal and no diabetics. My mother has spondylosis and suffering from dizziness and vomiting sometimes. So is it genetic in me. Should I consult a neurologist or wait for things to heal? Kindly advise.

Dear user, it is always better to rule out ankylosing spondylitis as your mother has had it. Nothing wrong with getting an xray of your spine taken and consulted to rule it out. In case of vertigo, medications are different. Hence I would suggest you to follow up with an orthopedician/neurologist. If you found my answer helpful, please leave a positive feedback as it helps me with my practice. Thank you.
