Hi, i'm 14 years old female and i'm going through something unusual. I am not able to sleep like normal teenagers, I don't know why it's happening. I go to bed daily at 11 pm and I am even tired too after spending time in online class and writing tons of assignments the whole day, but when I lie down on bed, I just can't sleep. I'm up the whole night just lying in bed until morning. This happens day after another, like if I am not able to sleep one night, i'll definitely sleep the next night normally for 8 hours. I am really concerned because staying up the entire night even though I am tired, does not sound like normal insomnia to me at all. Please help me what should I do in such situation.

Do you nap in daytime or do you sleep till late in morning. If yes then stop it. U need to change your habits. Try to go to bed early. Stop watching tv or mobile phone etc atleast an hour before going to sleep. Drink warm milk before going to bed. Even if you not able to sleep do not start chatting on what's app or face book etc. Don't sleep till late in morning. Eat healthy well balanced food. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before bed time. Also dinner should be light do some kind of exercise daily. Slowly your sleeping timings will change. It will take time. Have patience.
