26 years old female she is a 4th medical student. Diagnosed as depression, insomnia,generalised anxiety disorder with 4 episode of hyperventilating panic attacks for three years. Now she is suffering from severe throbbing headache on top of the head and occipital region also same time radiate to face and jaw. She see nightmares at every sleep that dream say people come to kill her in every nightmares. She is on mirtazapine ,and alprazolam. Headache is the problem. Not relieve by any pain medication. Only for sedatives but after wakeup pain is continuing. What we do for it.

Dear, it is nice of you to show concern about this medico. Since she is already on treatment with a doctor, please see that she regularly takes these tablets. She might stop it as soon she is better and thus having another episode. Please avoid pain killers for this headache. Let it be diagnosed properly by a psychiatrist or neurologist. It may be due to her depression itself or tension headache. After diagnosing, the appropriate treatment will be suggested.

V. Unfortunate at this age. Best is visit to naturopathy centre yog gram by patanjali baba ramdev. Medicines will not be harmful but soothing herbs. Far better than allopathic.

It appears that you have depression with anxiety. Your problem is created by your extreme fear. You must by now know the origin of this fear. Until you deal with this fear you are going to suffer the problems you have listed quite regularly. You will have to work very hard with a counselor for a long time to recover. If you do not cooperate then it is futile and is a gross waste of time, money and opportunity. There is nothing wrong with use of medication since it is used as an addendum to the process of therapy. When the medication has served its purpose, then you can discontinue it on the advice of the doctor. All disorders have a chemical imbalance and that can ideally be stabilized by introducing medication, which are made to mimic the natural neurotransmitters the brain produces. When the chemistry is normalized there is no need for further medication. Then the doctor will gently and gradually withdraw the medication to tease the brain to produce the new normal. Remember you will need to work with the counselor even if you take medication. The anxiety is fear based and the depression is based on unexpressed anger. Deal with these emotions in therapy to get good results.
