Hello Dr. My mom aged 54 has been experiencing frequent urination, overactive bladder and urine incontinence, accompanied by burning sensation during urination from quite sometime. She's not able to control her urine & so almost 2-3 times daily it leaks out. We got her urine routine & culture+sensitivity test done last week whose results. Colour: yellow appearance: clear sp. Gravity: 1.030 ph: acidic protein: negative glucose: negative ketone: negative urobilinogen: negative bilirubin: negative nitrite: negative blood: negative ascorbic: negative urine cells - wbc: large no/hpf rbc: 2-3/hpf epithelial cells: 1+ /lpf urine crystals- amorphous urate: 1+ misc- mucus: 2+ culture- growth condition: aerobic at 35-37 c for 24 hours culture yielded: escherichia coli isolated sensitive to-augmentin 2+, ceftriaxone 2+, azithromycin 1+, nalidixic acid 1+ resistant to- licomycin, gentamycin, bacitracin, tetracycline, amikacin, ciplox. I request you to kindly prescribe medication for her as she can't visit a Dr. Personally due to urine leakage problem. Thank you.
