I am an 18 year old female and have been experiencing calf cramps and pain for the past few days. I am very active but I am worried about the possibility of deep vein thrombosis. Do I have deep vein thrombosis?

Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons. If you are anaemia you definitely have calf pain it is definitely not due to deep vein thrombosis. Dvt will not come in such young age unless and until you have heart issues.

It can be caused by overuse of a muscle, dehydration, muscle strain or simply holding a position for a prolonged period can cause a muscle cramp. First, stop doing whatever triggered the muscle spasm then: gently stretch and massage the spasmodic muscle. Hold it in a stretched position until the spasms stop. Apply cold to sore/tender muscles or heat to tense/tight muscles. Drink plenty of water every day to stay hydrated. Do regular flexibility exercises before and after you work out.
