Hello I am suffering acne mild to moderate only (pimples) and oily skin moreover I am having lip vitiligo (only lower lip) and I am using minoxidil for hair fall and hair regrowth my question is my dermatologist prescribed me to use isotretinoin tablets for acne and reducing oiliness! will isotretinoin tablets reduce my oiliness with any side effects no side effects means tell me which one to use 5 mg or 10 mg.

Hi! as you are suffering from three different problems like hair fall, acne, and vitiligo .in my opinion isotretinoin is not advisable for mild acne.

Acne or pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it..
