Hello lybrate-user, I understand living with piles is difficult especially as it gets aggravated during pregnancy. Howver we try to tell our patients to avoid the precipating factor instead of applying tonne of creams locally. Please take more and more fibres in diet, isabgol, laxatives to ensure soft stool, avoid prolonged standing or sitting, push hemorrhoids inside using lignocaine jelly, take warm sitz bath in a tub. Coming to anovate, some studies have shown it to be harmful. I would rather suggest you to use witch hazel medicated pads or creams, any brand locally. You can also go to the pharmacist and use some over the counter hemorrhoid cream, lignocaine jelly also works well that you can apply locally. If you are very symptomatic, you may need surgery, do consult a surgeon if you are having very troublesome hemorrhoids. Hope that helps.
