Sir my spot urine test. Microalbumin <5.00 creatinine 63.29 .microalbumin creatinine ratio is <30 mg/g cream. Can I take metformin 500 sr for controlling morning hyperglycemia? I am on teneligliptin 20 mg, repace 50 ,novastat 5 mg. 48 years old. Diabetic for 10 years. Weight 58 kg.

Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. To calculate eGFR I need to know serum creatinine value. If you have that please inform the same. Because if eGFR is lower than 45 ml/Minute metformin is not recommended. Thanks.
