I am 40 years old male. Suffering heavy neck painandower back pain for past one year recently had mri of spine. Result is c3 to c7 and d1 posterior central disc bulge with mild thecal sac indentation and l3 to l5 disc bulge with narrowing of neural forminal. Had traction for more than 10 days but no relief. Is surgery required if not any future complications. My work involves very hard.

Continue traction. Cervical collar. Steroids avoid heavy work if you have any weakness in your hand then you have no other option but to get operated.

If there is no associated weakness and radicular pain in arm or leg then u can do regular physio and back strengthening exercises which should help posture training
