My wife had a patella fracture in july 2017 which healed. The leg was put in a cast and she did physiotherapy. She fractured the same knee again in 2018 due to a fall and underwent surgery for the patella fracture in january 2018. The patella was fixed with an implant with 2 hooks tied with wires. She underwent physiotherapy for extended period of 6-7 months and the fractured had healed. She started normal routine too. Now she has started to have acute knee pain for the last 2 weeks at a place slightly below the knee joint. She consulted the same orthopaedic surgeon post x-ray. The implant?s position is intact and there is no swelling or inflammation. She?s been on pain killers for 2 weeks now but the pain comes back once the effect of aceclo 200 wears out. There is no inflammation or swelling. The doctor is not able to determine the cause of the pain. Can you kindly help and let me know what should we do here?
