I am a recently married female. I am having a problem. I have a strong urge every time to urinate but very less comes out. And a little pain can be felt in vagina after pee. This problem is occurring after I had my sexual intercourse last month. Sometime while peeing I feel as if something came out of vagina. Since 20 days am suffering. And sometimes vagina itches also. And sometimes while having sex my husband can't penetrate also due to my extreme burning sensation in vagina. And sometimes without pain it happens. Please suggest me some medication.

Hello- you might be suffering from honeymoon cystitis. Honeymoon cystitis (or "honeymoon disease") is cystitis caused by sexual activity. The symptoms are the same as with cystitis triggered by something other than sex: burning sensation when peeing as well as the frequent urge to go to the bathroom. 1) make sure you empty your bladder before and after intercourse. Urinating after sex is the most effective mode of prevention because the voiding actually rinses bacteria from the urethra and clears it from the bladder. 2) make sure you hydrate sufficiently. I would recommend at least six glasses of water a day. 3) cranberry juice and/or tablets have been found to decrease adherence of bacteria to the urethral and bladder walls (a glass or a couple of tablets a day is a good habit to get into if you get frequent infections).
