My father is of 60 years. He is having creatine level 1.7 (upper limit 1.4), which is slightly elevated. And this level is constant from past 4 years in which from last 2 yers he is under nephrosave medication. He is not having sugar but high bp (220, 230, 240) from past 5 years. He is on clindapene, metoprolol, telmisartan, taursemide. I want to know, since my father bp is way higher why his creatine levels are still maintaining? He does not takes medicine regularly. So his bp is staying above 190/100. Kindly clarify his condition and please suggest if need to change medication. Thank you.
