Hello doctor, I am taking nexito forte for last 7 years or may be long on antidepressants. I am 42 years old male and now having lot of side effects due to this. I want to leave this medicine. Pls help me and save my life.

Dear Lybrate-user, When did you last go for a follow up with the doctor. If you have gone regularly, long back nexito forte would have been stopped. What were the initial side effects? What medical illness, like hypothyroidism and prolactinoma you had 7 years back. If the side effects are recent and medical problems came up later, you can not blame only nexito forte for it. Nexito forte contains 2 drugs - escitalopram and clonazepam. You can take plain nexito - only escitalopram for few weeks and then stop. See that you take therapy for your panic disorder.
