My grandmother is a diabetic patient. And I give her insulin shots daily twice a day. I want to know that if accidentally the syringe by which I use to give her insulin gets inject in my fingers or other part than I would also get diabetes.

Hello lybrate-user. Diabetes is not infectious. It does not spread that way. But other infections are possibile.

No. You will not get diabetes if the needle used by a diabetic accidentally pricks you. It is not a contagious diease and does not spread by bloodstream or injection.
