Hello sir, I am avinash kumar. My age is 37. I am suffering from diabetic. My weight is only 65 kg and a height of 5 feet 5 inch. I am an electrical engineer and my duty is related to field work (government epc work), so I am active mostly .i am serving here since last 10 years but what I think "my diet time was not regular" mostly time I had to go site on 08: 00 a.m. And there was no regular time for lunch, when the ongoing work is executed. Sometimes I was hungry whole the day. I had nor checkup my body since last 5 years, but last year on 27 july'18 I know that I have type-2 diabetic. But I realize that these symptoms of diabetic (like too much hunger, confusion, headache etc) were also present last 3 to 4 years back. Now I am taking only 1 medicine (amaryl 2 mg, glimepiride ip 2 mg) and completely avoid sugar in any form (sweets, chocolate, sugar free tablet) my present diet is only wheat chapati, green sabji, daal. Occasionally chicken curry, boiled egg, and consumes 1 liye milk daily during 24 hours in the form of tea, diet, and drink. My diet time are morning 9: 00a.m. Lunch 02: 00 p.m. Dinner 10: 00-11: 00 p.m. I live alone without family members. I am also doing 3 km morning walk daily. But still now I am facing high glucose level typically 140 (fasting). And 220 (post prandial) also I had done 2 times hba1c test on 27 august18 and on 30 january19. But both test result the same 6.1 and this hba1c test shows an average glucose level of 128 mg/dl. Also 1 time I examined urine uric acid test, which is normal and no presence of ketone. This was brief details of myself. Now my question is amaryl 2 mg is ok for me? Or I have to avoid such a food which is being continuously consumed by me in the misunderstanding.
