My grandmother fell because of high bp, we took her to hospital, her hip bone was fractured along with left hand and left foot fractured. In hospital her operation was conducted. Operation was successful. After then she was okay for 2-3 days but then, she started vomiting, whatever we gave her for eg. Two spoon of pulse she vomits it, doctor said due to heavy medicines, her digestive system got weak and then when vomits stopped, her stomach started to swallow, now gas is not passing, doctors said it's all there gas in the stomach, she hasn't even drink a drop of water since yesterday night, ultrasound is normal, doctors said her small intestine has swallowed, due to lack of potassium, now potassium is being given to her by drip but can't see much of a difference yet. Please suggest, is treatment of potassium giving to her is fine now? Will it reduce now or gas? Or what should be the appropriate treatment for her now?
