One of my frnd aged 29 is detected with kidney stones which is on both left and right side size 5 mm and 12 mm. After consulting a urologist he recommended RIRS laser treatment in which only 12 mm stone will b treated by putting a stent which will b removed after a week. Kindly advise how much expense will b incurred and what do you recommend? Doctor says the 5 mm stone will be automatically removed. Kindly confirm if this will actually be removed or not.

Yeah small stones can be easily removed. They will come out with urine. Drink at least twelve glasses of water daily drink citrus juices, such as orange juice eat a calcium-rich food at each meal, at least three times a day limit your intake of animal protein eat less salt, added sugar, and products containing high fructose corn syrup avoid foods and drinks high in oxalates and phosphates avoid eating or drinking anything which dehydrates you, such as alcohol.
