This is regarding. Hiv infection. I was with my friend in restaurant and ordered milk shake. The waiter brought one big glass with two straws and two spoons. We sipped with our straw as well as taken some portion of it with our spoon. As I know my friend is hiv infected so I had doubt of hiv transmission by taking milk shake together. So I am now worried. Kindly advise whether such transmission is possible and if not, then pl give details. Thanks.

Do not worry HIV does not spread by sharing food or drinks, it spreads via the following ways 1. By having unprotected sex 2. From infected mother to an unborn baby 3. Blood transfusion or by using infected syringes or needles so do not worry at all.
