My husband is diabetic since the past three years. He has been on no medication as per the doctor's instructions since a year but is just controlling it with diet and exercise. He is 66 years old. From the past month, when he checked his blood sugar - the fasting glucose has been 95 mg/dL and post prandial glucose 86 mg/dL. We have checked in 2-3 different hospitals just to be sure but his fasting levels are always more than the post prandial glucose. He usually exercises early mornings and then checks his fasting levels and then has a simple breakfast and checks again within 2 hours. But he has checked his levels 1-2 times even with no exercise and a good hearty breakfast but it's always the high before eating and lower than the fasting levels thereafter. Is this a concern?

It is not a concern to have fasting level more than the PP level of glucose. The variations occur to differences in the body insulin levels
