Couple of days back I had went to get a haircut. While cutting my hair, the barber accidentally cut his palm with the scissor. He was bleeding a little. He cleaned his palm with the tissue and continued to cut my hair. At the moment I did not have any cuts or wounds on my head or body. Post my haircut, I also checked my hair for any blood on it but did not found any. Is this something to be worried about? Are there any chances of infection specifically like HIV or any other seeds?

Dear user. Thanks for the question. HIV spread through Contact between broken skin, wounds, or mucous membranes and HIV-infected blood or blood-contaminated body fluids. Deep, open-mouth kissing if both partners have sores or bleeding gums and blood from the HIV-positive partner gets into the bloodstream of the HIV-negative partner. HIV can not spread through saliva.
