I am taking thyronorm 50 mcg since last 3 months regularly but my tsh had increased from 12 to 19. Should I start taking thyronorm 75 mcg or 100 mcg? My weight is 57 kg and height is 5'2" my age is 27.

lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query. When on treatment with adequate dose of Levothyroxine, TSH should be maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L. At that level all the symptoms are in check. So your present dosage is not adequate, needs to be increased. You may increase 25 mcg and then check TSH after 6 weeks to see if desired benefit has occurred or not. Thanks.
