I had angioplasty in 2005. I have been taking metoprolol 100 XR at night for BP control. Since I had sleep disturbances during the night I reduced to 50 mg XR at bed time. Early morning BP is 120/80 as it was with higher dose. Should I continue with 50 mg. It has already been 6 days when I reduced. Thanks.

You should continue 50. Check BP monthly on fixed dates after resting for ten minutes. You may require dose adjustment later. Best wishes.
