I have pneumonia. I am feeling difficulty in breathing and I have fever too with little bit of cough and cold. What causes the pneumonia? What is the treatment for pneumonia. Can pneumonia be prevented by the vaccines?

Pneumonia is due to infection in lungs, may be viral, bacterial etc. Treatment depanads according to cause for instance if bacterial which is most common, antibiotics is treatment. For prevention vaccine againest pneumonia and flu available, they develop immunity in body againest concerned strain.

Pneumonia can be prevented but not all types with vaccination, only invassive pneumoccocal pneumonia can b eprevented.Pneumonia can b edue to bacterial., viral, mycobacterial infections/funal infection.
