Hypothyroidism since 2014. Current levels of tsh is 154, total t3 is 0.21 and total t4 is 1.2. Taking eltroxin 100 currently. No periods for 3 months. Recently urine smells like period but there is no period for 5 days. What can be the reason.

lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query. Are you saying TSH is 154 mU/L? Is it correct? Because this is too high. When one is on adequate dose of Levothyroxine, TSH should be maintained around 3 to 4 mU. L, then only all the symptoms are in check. So please clarify. All the symptoms mentioned are indicating an uncontrolled hypothyroidism. I await your response. Thanks.
