Doctor gave a 25 mcg tablet and my doubt is my body is warm sometimes and in thermometer, it shows no fever due to thyroid body gets warm or not and need your help to reduce the thyroid? Suggest some foods. T3 T4 NORMAL tsh value 12 symptoms are warm in body muscle pains light throat pain.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. I remember to have answered this question. In hypothyroidism there is excessive sensitivity to cold, that is a person does not tolerate cold. There is hardly any warm feeling. Another aspect if body temperature is normal as shown by the thermometer, then there is no such rise in body temperature. When on treatment with adequate dose of Thyroxine, TSH should be around 3 to 4 mU/L to be free from all the symptoms. Your TSH is 12 mU/L, which is high. It means present dosage is not enough.
