Due to chest and arm discomfort, high BP 155/110 & high heart rate 130 bpm advised ECG & Echo test. The findings are:- ECG: Sinus Tachycardia & Inferior MI (11, aVF) ECHO: Concentric LVH, LV Diastolic Dysfunction Grade 1 Doctor ruled out MI in ECG and the following medications prescribed: nebivolol 5 mg OD Cilnidipine 10 mg OD Cilnidipine 10+ Telmisartan 40 mg (night) Rosuvastatin 10 mg-od scheduled for Cardiology appointment after a month. Is the above condition that serious and medications need to be continued life long? The doctor has advised unless the BP is controlled aggressively there are chances of Ischemia or heart failure. Male: 47 years Height: 178 cms Weight: 91 kgs.
