Hello, I am using olsertain 40 tablet for HBP. I am taking readings by automated bp monitor. During first reading I am very anxious, it shows little bit high after two minutes. I am very free it shows very normal and third reading also shows as second reading. Some told me take average, some one told me take average of second and third reading. What is the correct? Please suggest me. 1 reading 140/78 2 reading 117/70 3 reading 115/70. Average of three readings 124/74

Hello Bp varies from time to time, and also increases during anxiety state Also if you have high bp, it won't come down on its own immediately So be rest assured that you don't have high bp So the later readings are appropriate.
