Hello doctor, I am a male 63 years of age and best about 160 kg. Not diabetic and no other problem but high blood pressure of about 170.80. Was all this while taking a ten 25 but from today doctor has changed to 1 tablet each of nebicard 5 and ramistar 5.Please advise.

Hello lybrate-user follow your doctors advice. If he has changed your tablet there has to be a reason. From what I see your systolic bp is quiet high even with aten. Also try and control your weight, best is to start walking as that will help regulate your bp too. Restrict salt intake and eat more fruits and fibre. Make it a point not to compromise on sleep at all as that can increase blood pressure. If the recent change in prescription does not help I suggest you start homeopathy along with your regualr medication.
