From last 2 days I have been taking this medicine but again today my fasting sugar came 156. Apart I am also having burning sensation in my eyes. Pls suggest Is it the right course of medication.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. The blood glucose levels mentioned are very high, showing uncontrolled diabetes. Ideally when treatment is on fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% < 6.8. Therefore, it is clear that your levels are not well controlled. There is a need for upgrading the treatment. Plus there has to be a closer look at the diet and extent of daily exercise being done. Your weight (95 kgs) seems to be more. There is no mention of height, so can not calculate the BMI. So please talk to your doctor and upgrade the treatment. Or come in a private conversation with all the appropriate information. Thanks.
