Hello Doctor, Sir, my father is of 62. And he is patient of High BP. Since a long he was taking telmisartan Amlodipine Tablet and in earlier days he has stopped taking the medicine for his negligence. Now a days his BP has reached 170/120 and suffering from an intolerable headache uneasiness for about 7-8 days. Sir, kindly let me advice what should have to do now.

This high blood pressure may be the cause of his headache & uneasiness. This BP needs to be brought down immediately so It will be best to take him to a local hospital and get BP lowering treatment started under the observation of a cardiologist, if there are no cardiologist near you, then consult an MD medicine. Once the BP stabilizes take him to a cardiologist for a detailed cardiac evaluation.
