Please mention about the blood reports (the fasting / PP and HbA1c and other reports if done ). Please read about Diabetes in detail from the internet. (Having the basic knowledge will help you to take corrective measures and empower the patient to take charge of her health with enthusiasm) Every small step towards lifestyle change will boost the confidence of your mother. Let her go for regular check up and repeat the tests so that it can be monitored very closely and get very good sugar control soon. She can take the help of Homeopathy for the pain management and overall well-being. You can contact me for further details.

Dear lybrate-user, Please understand in Diabetes no medicine can remain constant so you need to be in constant touch with a doctor. Her medicines definitely need to be re analysed She needs to take enough proteins in her diet. Try taking a supplimentation like Glucerna SR.

lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query. Usually in a person with diabetes, energy levels are low if blood glucose is not well controlled. Ideally if fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, PP 160 to 170 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. If these values are maintained then person remains healthy and fit. In your communication there is no mention of glucose levels (fasting & PP), or HbA1c%, weight, height, dietary pattern and extent of daily physical activity or exercise. Also there is no proper detail of medications being taken. If you are keen on improving the current situation please come back with all above details in a private conversation (paid consultation), then I will be able to guide specifically. In this communication we are supposed to give only general guidelines. No prescriptions are allowed. Thanks.
