I visited Thailand in Jan month. I was not invloed in any sexual activity or took any injection there. I am getting married in next two month. So as precaution, I did HIV and HBsAg test (enhanced chemiluminescence) test. Both came negative last week on 5th March from reputed hospital. So does it mean that I am clear from any HIV virus? I have never involved in any sexual activity ever in my life. I did my blood check and report is ok. Please suggest.

Hello, Thanks for your query on Lybrate "As" per your clinical history is concerned please repeat HIV test in July once again because antibody takes up to 6 months and if that test is negative then you do not need any further testing and you are 100% HIV free and your other test is OK. Hope that helps.
