I have hypertension and am on medication since two years and taking Tenolol 25 MG and telmed AH once a day. I check BP regularly and it is always normal. I am physically active and do one hour of swimming or walking a day regularly and also do trekking occasionally. All other reports i.e lipid profile, ECG, Stress Test are normal. Creatinine is 1.34. I was earlier diagnosed as pre diabetic and HBA1C in may 2017 was 6.3. Not taking any medicines for sugar. Since 3 months my FBS is around 150 and post prandial sugar is around 210. However I do not experience fatigue or weakness. Do I need to start taking medicines for diabetes?

Yes, do consult a doctor for his advise. Regular blood sugar check and other tests will be helpful. Please do keep yourself active according to your physical capacity and do not overdo any exercise. Learn Yoga (including pranayam and meditation) which is healing in nature. Please revert after that for further clarification.
