My age is 29 yrs, One month ago due to some work stress & horrible nightmare, my blood pressure was high 160/100, then doctor told me to eat Abel 40, then I ate for 10 days then I quit, then once a week I am checking my bp which is always remaining 130/77. But the doctor is telling me not to quit bp medicine & let the bp to come 110/70 then I can quit taking bp medicine. So I am asking at my age (29 yrs), is it good to take bp medicine regularly?

it may be stress response as it is normal now without medication do not need medication now but u are highly prone to become hypertensive so take precautionary measures avoid extra salt,stop smoking / tobacco do regular exercise of 30 minute minimum and check bp every 2 monthly
