I am a 21 year old female for the past few weeks I have a slight uneasiness in my left part of chest I find it difficult to sleep on my sides. I feel suffocated at times. My sternum and rib bones pain when touched. And for a couple of months I have been suffering from lower back pain and when I walk there's pain beneath my knees. When I don't do any work I'm fine. Could you please me help me with the above?

Go for a basic cardiac screening and if the reports are normal your symptoms would be suggestive of a probable mild intervertebral disc involvement in your mid thoracic (mid back) and lower lumbar (low back) region. TREATMENT: PHYSIOTHERAPY (FOR ONE WEEK) 1.INTERMITTENT PELVIC TRACTION (with 12 kgs, 15 minutes duration) 2.interferential therapy (IFT) for mid thoracic region, 15 minutes) 3.relaxed deep breathing exercises with emphasis on chest expansion .mild thoracic mobility exercises may be started after a week.
