After six months again a mild pain felt we went for check-up doctor recommended ultrasound and this time report was 2 stones of 6 mm each and so without delaying gallbladder removed but after operation only a little powder type fluid is found from gallbladder. I am confuse whether it was stone or error of ultrasound. Please suggest me that is there possibility of any stone of yellowish colour and soft. Is surgery was my right decision?

Hi Lybrate user, Ayurveda contributes gallstones to an imbalance in metabolism, the digestive system and other biochemical processes. Cholecystectomy refers to the surgical removal of the gallbladder, the only treatment that guarantees no further occurrence of gallstones. You do not need your gallbladder to live because the liver will eventually take over the gallbladder?s functions Ayurvedic gallstone treatment includes detoxification, herbal medications and diet modifications So surgery was a appreciable decision. Now on wards she can modify her diet and life style. Pear, apple and beet juices cleanse the liver and detoxify the gallbladder as well choosing a low-fat diet and eliminating simple sugars offers the best prevention and protection Clear, non-carbonated and non-alcoholic beverages keep the bile ducts flushed of toxins. Try to avoid eating large quantities of fatty or oily foods as the body's ability to digest fats is impaired Eat foods that contain ginger Proper food timing should be maintained.
